Nottingham east Midlands Airport is one of the fastest growing regional airports in Britain. As well as a variety of scheduled flights to most parts of Britain and Europe, there are holiday flights to all the major tourist areas of Europe. In the winter there are direct connecting flights to P&O Cruises in the Caribbean.
The terminal building is conveniently situated for the additional facilities such as parking, car hire, taxi and bus services. A huge investment in facilities and a runway extension in recent years have left the airport in good shape for the ever-expanding traffic it now merits.
East Midlands is now believed to be the UK's largest Cargo Airport and hosts major operators such as TNT, UPS, DHL as well as the Royal Mail.
