Gatwick Airport guide
London Gatwick is London's second major airport. Initially the airport handled mainly holiday charter flights, but as the market expanded beyond the capacity of Heathrow many new scheduled services were established at Gatwick, until today where the airport handles all scheduled traffic by some carriers and for certain destinations.
There are two Terminals at Gatwick, North and South with a frequent shuttle train between the two.
The single runway at Gatwick is a major impediment to further expansion and so it is likely to be some time before any further expansion is seen.
