Gatwick Airport transport guide
By Road
Gatwick airport is 28 miles south of London. From the M25 motorway leave at Junction 7, then take the M23 south towards Crawley, turning off west at Junction 9, from where Gatwick is clearly signposted. North and South terminal each have a 24-hour petrol station. Regular shuttles run between the long-term parking and the terminals.
By Rail
Gatwick Express trains operate every 15 minutes to and from London Victoria. The journey takes about 30 minutes.
Thameslink run train services from London, Bedford and Brighton to Gatwick, there are 4 trains every hour. The Thameslink service also connects London Gatwick to London Luton Airport.
There are also services from Watford and London Victoria, these run every 15 minutes at peak times. All trains come into the South Terminal, but there is a free Inter Terminal Transit train every 3 minutes (journey time 2 minutes).
By Taxi
Chauffeur driven car hire services are provided by the airports' official concessionaire, Checker Cars. There is a quoted fare system and taxis can be pre-booked with fares paid in advance by cash or credit card, or at the end of the journey.
Checker Cars has a booking office in the North Terminal arrivals area and a booking office in the northern entrance building leading to the South Terminal.
Cars with swivel seats are available for disabled travellers.

By Bus
The Flightline 777 coach from Victoria connects services from most parts of Britain to the airport.
Speedlink links Gatwick and Heathrow,
Jetlink links Northampton, Milton Keynes, Brighton, and East Anglia.
Flightlink runs to and from the Midlands.
The Airbus A5 runs from London Victoria to Gatwick.
Most of these services terminate at the South Terminal, and the transit train runs between the 2 terminals

Gatwick Airport is well served by National Express coach services to the rest of the UK
